Over the years the industry has recorded an excellent progress and is being further augmented through buyer-seller meets, national and international exhibitions, and through other promotional activities. Whereas exports have gained momentum., efforts are on to promote larger volume use in the domestic sector.
The concept of FIBCs needs to be clearly understood as distinguished from sacks and bags. The input materials, conversion , intricacies involved , the precision, the properties etc all aim for higher technology skills. This industry therefore needs to be categorized as a separate entity
